The Advanced Adventurer Course is the next step after you get your Open Water Diver Certification. The course only take 2 days and it’s all about improve and advancing your skills, without exam. After some theory and skill practice and with our experience Instructor, you’ll get 5 adventure dives & you can choose any adventures dive you like. There are a lot of choices for adventures dive, but mostly people take deep, navigation, peak performance buoyancy, night, drift, fish identification, search and recovery, photography, underwater naturalist, and many more (ask your Instructor for more informations).
There’s no exam only knowledge review because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience and this is the perfect way to do more scuba diving on the 27 sites arround Gili’s to a max depth 30m.
Choices of adventure dives:
- Deep: there’s something exciting and mysterious about experiencing deeper dive site. Maybe it’s a wreck like in here we have Glen Nusa wreck in shark point or wall dive. We will diving to a maximum depth 30m and learning about pressure, color changes, and nitrogen narcosis.
- Navigation: Be the scuba diver everyone wants to follow because you know where you are and where you’re going. In this adventure dive you will learn how to properly navigate a straight and line, square pattern, and also learn how to use your surroundings underwater for natural navigation.
- Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB): Learn about proper weighting techniques, practice fine tuning your buoyancy, reduce your air consumption to make you stay longer in underwater. Most of all instructors will highly recommend you to take this PPB.
- Drift: Learn to go with the flow as you glide along with the ocean’s currents so you will save much energy. Drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating at the same time because you will feel like you’re flying in underwater with your scuba gear on. You also will learn how to use SMB (Surface Maker Buoy) and do negative entry which is super cool and fun.
- Night: You’ll learn light handling and communication techniques, entering, exiting and navigating in the dark, identifying how plants and animals differ or change behavior at night. Not only that, the best thing from night dive is you can see and play with sparkling plankton during the safety stop.
- Photography: Capturing images of your underwater adventure has become more fun than ever before. We have an instructor also a professional underwater photographer that can help you to improve more your photography skills.
